The National Relay is for age groups 11 to 16 years and was restructured in 2013 to consist of 8 legs for both genders. Each team's eight runners cannot exceed a total age of 108 years, but younger runners under 11 can participate and will be counted as 11 years in the relay. All legs can be viewed from the spectator area northwest of the town hall, where the relay starts at 1:00 PM, followed by a street race at 2:00 PM that is open to both children and adults.
